If you are doing Enopi via mail via correspondence because there is not an Enopi center close to you, please read through the following.

Here is the the procedure:

On the week of the 25th of each month, a Tyvek package will be sent to you via "media mail" with the following month's assignments and plans. You will be billed a "per booklet fee"  based on the number of assignments that have been sent.  Media mail is the cheapest route for us to take, and our standard package has been weighed and measured so that we can reduce cost all around.  Sending it a week in advance will allow us to give it enough time to get there before the first of the month.

Our current charge per booklet is $1.75.  This cost includes a discount from the normal tuition structure since you are unable to attend class.  However, we still have to re-grade, record, and prepare the assignment which involves a certain amount of cost for us over and above just  the "sourcing" cost of the booklet.   Our sourcing cost per booklet is about $1.30 right now. As the instructor improves the quality of the correspondence process, this cost may be subject to change.  Currently this cost does not include postage, which you will be billed for separately.  You will be sent an invoice on the first of each month for the plan that was sent the previous week.

Envelopes will be provided for you to send the completed materials back EACH WEEK to the St. Louis center.   Please return envelopes each week so that plans can be adjusted in a proper timeframe.  Make sure all of the pages have been completed, including the Thinker's Corner pages.

An answering booklet will be provided for each series of assigments. Please grade the assignments each day, to have the maximum impact on the next day's work. Please grade honestly and accurately, so that a good planning decision can be made.  Once the work is fully graded and corrected, please return each week's booklets in the envelope provided.

Since we are unable to observe the child directly, use the following rule of thumb for assessing whether the "increment" fits.  Work until completion, OR 20 minutes time.  PLEASE STOP AT 20 MINUTES.    This way, we don't accidentally overburden the child, and the 20 minute rule is consistent with current neurological research on the best practices for concept acquisition.  If a set is incomplete at the 20 min. mark, please put it aside until the next day.

If you have any questions, please contact Loribeth via email.  The Correspondence program is still in development and we are still working out the procedural kinks.  It's not perfect yet !

Please be patient with us as we work to figure out the best way!
